The Foxy Ladies are a traditional rug hooking guild, affiliated with ATHA (Association of Traditional Hooking Artists). We meet monthly in Downers Grove, a suburb of Chicago, Illinois.
Where We Meet
The Foxy Ladies Rug Hooking Guild now has a new regular meeting place: the Oak Trace Senior Living Community in Downers Grove, IL.
Our regular meetings are held at 200 Village Drive, Downers Grove, IL. There are visitor parking spots, and when you enter the building, which is also called Red Oak, check in at the desk to obtain a name tag and they will direct you to the Art Studio, where we meet on the second Saturday of the month, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Special Events
In October, on the 18th, We will be presenting a Hooked Rug Show in the Performing Arts Center, at 270 Village Drive. That entrance is also called Burr Oak, and there are visitor parking spots there, as well. Come and see the variety of our rugs and how we make them. You can even try it out yourself!
We will also be exhibiting at the Grove Folk Fest, 1421 Milwaukee Ave., Glenview, IL on Oct. 5, from 11-5, in the Kennicott House. Check us out!
